Volunteer Home Page Instructions
· On the Volunteer home page, the first thing to do is create a profile for each family, via the Create volunteer profile Link.
· Next, Select View volunteer scheduled opportunities
o On this page you will be prompted to sign in.
§ Use the password you just setup, on the profile page. Username is the eMail address you entered in the Profile Creation.
o Then you can LIST, and then sign up for Volunteer opportunities. You can also SHOW your record, of what you have signed up for.
§ When you select the start and end dates, it will show you only the volunteer opportunities within those dates.
§ Same with the other fields, so fill in just the ones you want to narrow down your search.
§ Note: To pick a team event, select you team under the Events pull down.
o Sign up for at least 5 Association, and 5 Team Credits.
o Note: Team signups are for the whole year. Example, if you sign up for score sheet, you are responsible for it the whole season, so either you do it, or get someone to do it. This would give you 5 team credits.
o Then you can go back to the Volunteer home page.
· Submit volunteer miscellaneous opportunity, is used to submit Volunteer opportunities that are not listed.
Remember: This is our first try at this, and dont get frustrated. Work with your team managers to Volunteer, and use this tool as an aid to find, and pick the duties you want. We will use it to make sure all the work to operate our club is delegated fairly.
