Coaches Certifications & Fees
Coaching Certifications:
Upper Level Coaches: If updated Certification classes are needed, the Level Directors should get a listing of all coaches required to take a classes (rostered coaches at their level), and send that list to the Registrar. Once the classes are completed, the coaches can submit a copy of the updated Certification Card , along with the class receipt to the Registrar to verify completion of the class and update the rosters.
Mite Coaches: Submit copy of new Certification Card, along with receipt to the Mite Director(s). Once approved by the Mite Director(s), these documents should be given to the Registrar to process reimbursements. Checks for reimbursement will be provided to the Mite Director(s) for distribution to the coaches.
USA/MN Hockey Coaching Fees:
Upper Level Coaches: USA/MN Hockey Fees will be reimbursed through the team Ice Bills, which was explained at the Team Manager’s meeting. Coaches can contact their Team Manager for reimbursement. Only coaches who are on the team roster will be reimbursed.
Mite Level: Submit a copy of the USA/MN Hockey Confirmation page to the Mite Director(s). Once the Mite Director(s) verify that the on-ice coaches have registered with USA/MN Hockey, the Confirmation pages can be sent to the Registrar for reimbursement. Checks for reimbursement will be provided to the Mite Director(s) for distribution to the coaches. Only coaches who are on the team roster will be reimbursed.
