When the puck drops to begin competition at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea next month competitors from around the world will experience what we in the Burnsville Hockey Club have appreciated for 31 years – there’s nothing like playing on a first class sheet of ice.

Dave Hanson, one of our own; leaves next Saturday for PyeongChang where he will be one of three ice resurfacers working on the hockey venue who are from the Twin Cites.

In addition to his 31 years at Burnsville Ice Center Dave has also prepared ice for the Minnesota Wild since day one and the North Stars.

Please congratulate Dave and wish him safe travels when you see him at the rink!

And while you’re at it, take time to thank our great team of resurfacers at the BIC
