Charitable Gambling Information

Charitable gambling is heavily regulated, and our operation strictly adheres to the statutes and rules established by the State of Minnesota and the state Gambling Control Board.

Revenue received through charitable gambling from pull-tab and bingo is critical to the long-term well being of Burnsville Hockey Club.  We appreciate each of our sponsor sites, and encourage BHC members to patronize each of these amazing charitable gambling sites.

The story of Jensen’s Café began in the post-depression era in rural Fremont, Nebraska. Alvin Jensen lived in Fremont and operated a small gas station along Broad Street until taking over the Café across the street. Little did he know how long – and far – this little restaurant would go.
Al Jensen ran the Café in Fremont for over 30 years. They prided themselves on their homemade soup and other home-style delights. And every five years, in honor of their Danish heritage, customers received free aebleskiever (Danish doughnuts). Their recipe for success seems simple “…hire the best people … tell ‘em to buy the best products they can get and cook it the best way they know how … give people the best service you can … and the money takes care of itself.”

Taking inspiration from Detroit-Style Pan Pizza, Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza, and the Tavern-Style pizza found in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest, we’ve worked hard to create a delicious pizza that is both unique and familiar. Our 8x10-inch rectangular pizzas are covered with cheese right to the edges, creating a crispy crown with dollops of house-made pizza sauce. Flavorful toppings include cupping pepperoni, sausage made in house, caramelized onions, roasted Brussels sprouts, and four kinds of cheese.
